'Yossi and Tyler ran an inspirational spoken word workshop session for us this summer. They gave our participants the tools and confidence to express themselves on topics they cared about. Some of our participants opened up for the first time about important issues in their lives and plan to write more in the future. Yossi and Tyler were fantastic at encouraging our participants to perform. We would be delighted to have them back again next year'

'It was wonderful to see the young people so focused on writing and sharing their thoughts and feelings. We saw young people who usually become disengaged by English-focused activities engaging well and eager to express their ideas accurately on paper before performing. It was also lovely to see young people listening to each other poems and praising them with such enthusiasm. This really feeds into our aim of teamwork and peer support.'
- Yvie, British Red Cross Youth Service Coordinator.
'Your workshops were absolutely amazing! The young people had a great time and it was very powerful to see them sharing ideas and it was a great opportunity for them to record their own poems. They look forward to seeing the end result. You were both great facilitators and you really helped the young people to open up and were very flexible and available. I felt the young people had the support they needed to explore and create. We would recommend to other youth clubs and would be happy to have you back in the future! '

'Thank you for allowing me to speak. I never thought I could something like this or use my voice in this way. Now I know I can.'

'Thanks for such great sessions that have really opened my eyes already after two.
After my first one I looked out the window and saw a bus - but the session had made it look different. Everything had become possible poetry.
It’s wonderful to be with people who share an urge to find creative outlets. And I’m loving the feeling of having opened that door in me.
Thanks again and until Wednesday,
